Audit of Accredited Programmes 2002 - Derbyshire
Derbyshire had adopted an action plan to improve the IQR for ETS, with identified responsibilities forstaff and managers throughout the organisation. There was a strong lead from the centre, particularly demonstrated in attention to training, communication, performance management and accountability structures. Area guidelines had been revised, with the result of increased staff knowledge and ownershipof the programme and better integration of the work of programme tutors and case managers. Asystematic approach to improve performance was evident in the development and use of monitoring andevaluation information, e.g. work on attrition.
