The Inspection of the Pembrokeshire basic command unit (BCU) was carried out on behalf ofHer Majesty�s Inspectorate of Constabulary by Superintendent Robert Evans, assisted by ChiefInspector Alan Dewberry and Ms. Caroline Shanklyn, between 29 August and 4 September 2001.The inspection team is grateful for the co-operation and assistance provided by the BCUcommander and his staff throughout the Inspection and thanks all those who contributed to thefindings.

The Inspection of the Carmarthenshire basic command unit (BCU) was carried out on behalf of HerMajestys Inspectorate of Constabulary by Superintendent Robert Evans, assisted by Chief Inspector Alan Dewberry and Ms. Caroline Shanklyn, between 10 and 14 September 2001. The inspection team is grateful to the BCU commander and his staff for their co-operation and assistance throughoutthe inspection period.
