Value for Money Consultation

In June HMIC consulted Rounded Assessment, a proposed framework for monitoring and assessing the performance of police forces in England and Wales.

We are now seeking your views on one specific aspect of the framework, the Value for Money profiles. HMIC has developed a range of benchmarking indicators using existing data on costs and staffing and showing how forces compare to other forces in their similar group. This consultation seeks views on the methodology and a sample draft profile.
