This document has been prepared to assist Chief Officers and Police Authorities throughout the United Kingdom in reviewing their force health and safety arrangements.
This FAQ has been created in response to a number of requests from forces for further guidance and clarification on application of the model, expressed at the September 2006 National Costing Model for police training conference.
This guidance is designed to be read in conjunction with HOC 44/05 Improving the Quality, Efficiency, Effectiveness and Economy of Police Learning and Training and HOC 10/2007 Annual Learning and Development Business Plans.
